How many licks to get to the center of a tootsie pop?

Wonder if anyone ever got the answer.

This is such a great idea...I know the grand kids would love it..and if I can't be at home on that creepy halloween night., I could leave it sitting on my porch where all the neighborhood ghost ,goblins and beautiful princesses could help themselves.
