The weather has suddenly changed.
The last few days have been really cold and windy.
So this morning it felt really good having the oven on.
Not Just For Breakfast Chile Pie1 large can of Ortega Green Chile
1 Cup grated mild cheddar cheese
1 Cup scalded half and half
1/2 tsp. garlic salt
Spray a 8 inch pie pan with cooking spray and line the bottom with green chile. Sprinkle with the cheese. Beat eggs and fold into the scalded half and half and garlic salt. Pour mixture over the cheese . Bake at 325 degrees for about 40 minutes or until the custard has set. Cut in wedges and serve.
This really is good served for dinner too.
